Ceda Partnerships
Many suppliers recognise CEDA members as being a large and very professional part of the primary route to market for their products and have expressed an interest in "joining" CEDA to allow them to network with members and contribute to CEDA's work in raising standards throughout the industry.
The CEDA Partners sponsorship packages were introduced in 2007 to provide suppliers with an annual involvement in CEDA to fulfil the following needs.
• To show a commitment to the aims and objectives of CEDA
• To provide opportunities to network with decision makers in CEDA member companies
• To promote their own brands in conjunction with CEDA through advertising and presence on the web site
The money raised from the Partners sponsorship has been used primarily for marketing activities. Since the introduction of the packages CEDA have run over 100 pages of advertising aimed at raising awareness of end users to the benefits of dealing with a CEDA member. We have also provided additional opportunities for partners to promote their brands through the following activities: -
• CEDA Buying Advice Clinic at Hotelympia – members were able to discuss partner’s products with exhibition visitors.
• Win a £60000 Kitchen Competition – 17 partners benefited from exposure on the Hotelympia website, plus pre-competition promotion and a follow-up "My New Kitchen" feature in Caterer & Hotelkeeper.
• CEDA Catering Equipment Village at the Restaurant Show. Partners were able to display equipment and feature as exhibitors in their own right from as little as £595. The show generated over 100 good quality leads and orders are still being taken.
The results of all this activity has been an increase of over 200% in visitors to our web site. Many of these visitors leave our web site via link to a member's or a partner's own site.
We will continue to work hard on marketing and will, of course, also seize other opportunities to promote CEDA and our Partners when the opportunities arise.
