Showroom Display & Demonstration

Relying on catalogues, leaflets or websites alone does not do justice to either the equipment or the caterer and in many instances is very dangerous.

Many CEDA distributors have showroom facilities and the opportunity to view equipment and discuss how it fits your business will help you make the right choices.

In the case of new technology, viewing may not be enough. Equipment demonstration is essential not only to prove the appliance but to examine the quality of construction, cleanability and the ease of maintenance. In other cases, your local CEDA member can arrange visits to see equipment already installed, so you can see for yourself how it performs and get feedback from other caterers. Visits can also be made to manufacturer's test kitchens where, if appropriate, your unique recipes can be tested and equipment performance evaluated.

The CEDA distributor plays a unique role in being able to offer all these services to the client and importantly provides them with an environment where a number of different manufacturers' products can be compared, inspected and demonstrated without the high pressure selling which is sometimes experienced when a manufacturer sells the 'features and benefits' of their own products.
