It is crucial that distributors work closely with the various manufacturers of equipment.

Manufacturers recognise the need for a strong distributor network if their particular products are to be sold professionally, with the correct products sold to meet the specific requirements of the caterer.

CEDA members work with all manufacturers and importers of catering equipment in the UK. But we also maintain a ‘distance’ from the manufacturers and are able to offer caterers independent advice on the best combi oven, fryer or knife to suit their needs – and budget.

The huge buying power of CEDA (more than 65% of equipment sold in the UK is via CEDA members) ensures that manufacturers listen to our concerns and work with us to ensure the best service for our customers.
