DesignThe operational brief is quite rightly the starting point of any design and equipment selection is the key to a successful kitchen. There are a number of different routes that the caterer may take for kitchen design; the CEDA distributor can provide the design service as part of the added value, which he brings to the equipment. That design is normally an extension of the general equipment advice he may already be giving to the caterer as part of their continued business relationship. Many CEDA distributors have in-house design facilities, with computer aided design technology. They are able to draw from the many equipment libraries now available to produce designs to meet the specific need. The designs once formulated can then be supported by technical information, giving detailed service positions and connection points.
