Membership To CEDA

There are two types of CEDA membership -

FULL MEMBERSHIP. For companies who are primarily engaged in the distribution of commercial catering equipment.

SERVICE MEMBERS.  For companies who's main business is the installation and maintenance of commercial catering equipment. 
There are two categories of Service Member, Full Service Member for companies with a turnover in excess of £500,000 and Small Service Member for companies with a lower turnover.

ASSOCIATE OF CEDA. For companies whose activity is allied to and complimentary to the distribution of catering equipment but does not qualify for Full or Service Membership.   Associates must aspire to the ideals of CEDA and comply with the CEDA Customer charter and Code of Good Practice.

Below is an extract from the Application Form, which shows the current costs involved. Check out that section within the Rules, available from the Secretary.

• Under £1 M sales turnover = £865 annual subscription
• £1 M - £3 M sales turnover = £1130 annual subscription
• Over £3 M sales turnover = £1335 annual subscription

These fees include £200 towards the cost of attending the AGM and Conference.
In addition there is a joining fee, being one half of the first full year's subscription.

SMALL SERVICE MEMBERS - Annual subscriptions are based on the member company's previous year's total sales turnover, which are currently as follows:

• Under £300K turnover = £300
• £300k-£500K turnover = £500

The fees for Small Service Members does not inlcude any contribution to the cost of attending the AGM or conference.  There is no joining fee for Small Service Members

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP. Annual subscription is currently £1025.
