Equipment selection is not an easy one. Relying on catalogues or leaflets alone does justice to neither the equipment nor the caterer and in many instances it is very dangerous.

Having the opportunities to view the equipment greatly assists the selection process. In the case of new technology viewing may not be enough. Equipment demonstration is essential not only to prove the appliance but to examine the quality of construction, cleanability and the ease of maintenance. The CEDA distributor plays a unique role in being able to offer all these services to the client and importantly provides them with an environment where a number of different manufacturers' products can be compared, inspected and demonstrated without the high pressure selling which is sometimes experienced when a particular manufacturer sells the 'features and benefits' of their own products.
